The Keller Public Arts Society presents its first Independent Film Series, featuring award winning Texas filmmakers. The MovieHouse & Eatery, 250 Rufe Snow Drive, Keller is the venue for the event. Be on hand for the second of the three week series on Sunday, February 18th, 1:30 pm for the screening of "Flutter", a personal film by director Eric Hueber that tells the story of JoLynn (Lindsay Pulsipher, Justified, True Blood), a young mother raising her son Johnathan (Johnathan Huff Jr.), who suffers from nystagmus and severe narrow angle glaucoma, on her own. She grows marijuana in her home to help treat Johnathan’s ailments, as it’s the only medicine that effectively relieves the pain inflicted on him by his condition. Glenn Morshower (Under Siege, Air Force One, Black Hawk Down, 24, The West Wing and Friday Night Lights), also with a personal connection, is cast in the roll of Jonathan's grandfather.
