Keller Business Connections is preparing for the 1st Annual “Taste of Keller”, on April 18th and 19th. "Taste of Keller" is a county fair with a Keller flair. “Taste of Keller” offers a tasty weekend blend of food, music, art and plenty of family hometown fun. This two-day festival features restaurants serving generous samplings of their menus at reduced prices, state and local musical entertainment, chef demonstrations and wine and brewery tasting, community-wide team BBQ competition, egg drop, 1K fun run, electric pond boat races, motorcycle "Keller Race for the Cross" and elements straight from the county fair of your youth. We will have several builders and businesses battle it off at the 1st "Battle of the Builders" as they construct dog houses that will be auctioned off to benefit the Keller Human Society. Many local artists will also be on hand to display their talents and sell their pieces.
We believe that “Taste of Keller” will benefit the community by providing a wide range of family-friendly activities and events. The proceeds from these special events will be distributed to many local area charities, which also makes “Taste of Keller” a philanthropic endeavor in the community. Through advertising and marketing being done by our sponsors, 95.9 the Ranch and Bud Light, we will draw multitudes of people from neighboring towns and will showcase all of the fantastic art, food and entertainment we have to offer in Keller.
In five years, we hope that this fair will be one of the largest in North Texas and that it will be a true tourist attraction, drawing crowds from all over the Metroplex, North Texas and beyond.
