If you're planning on taking your kiddo to "Take Your Daughter/Son to Work Day" this week, their absence will not be excused at Keller ISD schools.

Thursday, April 26 is the official day for parents to tote their children into work with them, if their employer allows it, but Keller ISD officials are telling parents to wait until June 14 instead.

According to a letter from Principal Gary Mantz at South Keller Intermediate School, "the summer date was chosen so that your child could participate without a loss of instructional time." Because the date is not a KISD District-approved day, students will be counted as absent.
