Local Entrepreneurial Couple Signs Agreement to Open Premier Educational Child Care Center

Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers, widely recognized as the leading values-based, early-education child care provider in the United States, announced that it has signed a franchise agreement with Vinay and Gigi Gupta to open a new location in Keller, Texas. The future school will be conveniently situated at the intersection of North Tarrant Parkway and Smithfield Road, and is scheduled to open this spring.

The demand is growing for educational childcare in the Dallas/Forth Worth area as the area continues to expand at a Texas sized pace, and more than ever, parents are putting a high priority on placing their children in an engaging environment where fun and learning come together. “We’re thrilled over the opportunity to introduce families in our community to the unique Children’s Lighthouse experience,” Vinay said.

Gigi brings fifteen years of education, information technology and administration as well as early childhood experience. She has a Master’s in science with the highest honor and Bachelor’s in education. She is also a recent KISD Community Ambassador program graduate. Vinay has more than eighteen years of experience in the project management, finance, investment banking, information technology and customer support industries. Gigi will oversee the learning center and will serve as a community liaison and relationship manager for the parents and families of enrollees. She will hire a director, an assistant director and teachers to facilitate education and oversee daily operations

The Guptas have joined the local Chamber of Commerce and plan to be a regular part of the community programs.

“Keller has a beautiful and closely knit community,” Gigi said. “Our long-time goal and passion has been to have a business that keeps us close to the community, and Children’s Lighthosue allows us to do just that.”

The Childrens Lighthouse Learning Center, centered between Keller and City of North Richland Hills will span 11,120 square feet, and will provide ample space for children to learn in classroom and group settings, while also offering sizeable play areas both inside and out. An on-site kitchen offers freshly prepared, healthy meals daily for students. Children’s Lighthouse serves families with kids just a few months old to 12 years old. In addition to childcare during traditional school hours, highly interactive after-school programs and summer-camps are available to kids up to age 12.

Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers are safe and secure environments that give parents peace of mind with online video links to rooms, computerized building entry, security monitoring and transportation to and from area elementary schools.

With experienced educational childcare professionals guiding the company’s operations, Children’s Lighthouse has embedded the Lighthouse C.A.R.E.S curriculum into its programming at all existing and upcoming schools. The integrated learning strategies of C.A.R.E.S. focus on students’ intellectual development, social and emotional growth, active learning through hands-on lessons and embedded content that emphasizes the fundamental basics of phonics, reading, math, science and social studies.

“In my opinion, Children’s Lighthouse will serve a very special need in our community. We will be providing parents a place where they can feel confident that their children are safe and secure, while developing priceless and lasting learning habits,” Gigi added. “Our Lighthouse will offer a loving and nurturing environment for the children in our community, providing parents with the utmost sense of security that their child is being cared for individually.”

Children’s Lighthouse is on a rapid ascent to the top of the educational childcare industry, and franchise investors are taking notice. Along with the forthcoming school in the Keller area, 20 new Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers are in development or under construction, preparing to join the 40 that are already operating.

“We are growing into new areas with talented individuals such as Vinay and Gigi, who share our passion for community, nurturing care and education,” said Pat Brown, president and co-founder of Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers. “We couldn’t be happier about adding a school in Keller and doing so with such gifted entrepreneurs. Children’s Lighthouse has a bright future in the region.”
