With a forecasted high of 89 degrees on Saturday, it'll be a great day to get out and tidy up that lawn before that real summer heat makes you want to hide indoors.

After you've finished the mowing, hedging, and clipping, head over to 1792 Ottinger Road on Saturday to get rid of that "green" yard waste. Bag up your grass clippings, leaves, branches, and brush and drop it off for free at the city's designated site. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and proof of residency is required, so don't forget a driver's license or water bill. All materials collected will be composted and then reused in the city parks.
