The Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the McDonald’s located on 989 Keller Parkway on Thursday, July 12 at 5 p.m.

Members from the chamber, the City of Keller, the Lions Club, Keller Independent School District officials, local business owners and Mayor Pat McGrail were all in attendance to celebrate the newly renovated restaurant.

Before the ribbon cutting, owners Chalmer and Karen McWilliams thanked their friends and supporters and initiated a champagne toast.  Mr. McWilliams announced that all the sales of the following day, July 13, would be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Fort Worth.

After the official ribbon cutting ceremony, attendees were invited to take a tour of the restaurant and sample new products and refreshments.

“McDonald’s has been a tremendous asset to the chamber in the past years,” said Bill Dodge, city council member.  “The owners are local and live in the area.  Although McDonald’s is a franchise, this feels like a family restaurant.”
