It’s not too late to spice up your weekend with some good old-fashioned detective work. 

The Keller Parks and Recreation Department’s “I Spy in July” citywide photo scavenger hunt will end on Friday, Aug. 3 at 5 p.m., and the deadline to submit your entries will be here faster than you can say, “Elementary, my dear Watson.”

Keller’s first ever “I Spy in July” scavenger hunt began on Monday, July 9.  The contest encourages its participants to solve clues to discover 31 different places and submit their findings and photos online or in scrapbooks.

As of Thursday, July 26, 78 scrapbooks have been submitted to the department.  Scrapbooks can be downloaded here or picked up at the Parks and Recreation office at Keller Town Hall.

There are prizes for different levels of completion, and participants who complete all 31 photo challenges are entered into a grand prize drawing for a chance to win a gift card worth more than $100.

Bust out your notepad and magnifying glass this weekend and solve “I Spy in July.”
