Celebrate the end of 2011 and welcome in 2012 by checking out some of these celebrations going on around the DFW area:

  • The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine will have its annual New Year's Eve Ballroom Gala featuring live 70's style entertainment by Le Freak. Packages include hotel rooms at the resort and admission for two to the event. Call 817.778.2000
  • Check out "Swinging in the New Year" with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. Listen to great standards by Duke Ellington and more. The event starts at 8 p.m., leaving you plenty of time for dinner and dancing after.
  • The Flying Saucer in Fort Worth's New Year's Eve celebration will include music by The Flavours. It starts at 9:30 p.m. and the cover is $10.
