A Keller man nabbed first place in the California International Marathon, a 26.2-mile race from Folsom, California to downtown Sacramento.
24-year-old Erick Monyene came in first place in Sunday's marathon with a total time of 2:11:50, according to an article on SacramentoPress.com. Over 4,000 runners from across the globe competed in the marathon.
Monyene and other top finishers were recognized at an award ceremony at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
