A new book festival will bring national and local authors to Keller next month, according to a press release by the Keller Independent School District.

The inaugural Young Adult Keller Book Festival will be held on January 14th, 2012. Organized by the secondary librarians of KISD, the festival will feature authors, poets, and storytellers popular with young adults. Award-winning authors and poets like Ellen Hopkins and Colin Gilbert are just some of the guest speakers during the event. Books will also be available for purchase on-site by The Book Carriage of Roanoke.

The festival will be held at Keller High School from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to the public. It is free to attend.
