Gingerbread Houses Add Festive Touch to Keller Public Library

They may look good enough to eat, but these gingerbread houses are just for display.

Make a special trip to Keller Public Library this holiday season and check out the exhibit of beautiful gingerbread houses and other confectionery creations. Fourteen different houses, complete with a key lime cookie tree and a small sleigh will line the shelving in the children's area of the library.

You and the kids will delight in the unique houses, including a gingerbread church, a log cabin, a farmhouse and more. The displays, three of which are youth entries from the Keller Sugar Craft Guild, were crafted with attention to details like caramel roofs, sugar cube presents, and an American flag made of icing.

Children from Keller were invited to create the design of a house and all those who contributed signed their names, which are also on display.
