Time to tear down those Christmas trees!

Keller's annual Christmas tree recycling event is going on now until January 8th. From 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day, drop off your tree at the north end of the Multi-Use Arena parking lot at the Keller Sports Park, 112 Sports Parkway.

There are some restrictions: no flocked trees, and all decorations, bags, tinsel, ornaments, lights, plastic, nails, and stand musts be removed.

The trees will be turned into mulch, which will be made available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis at a later date.
