Students who are aspiring filmmakers still have a shot at winning the Keller ISD Student Film Festival.

The festival, which KISD calls "an opportunity for students to develop their visual literacy and expand their educational experience," has a deadline of December 31, 2011. Students are asked to produce a movie, and have seven entry categories to choose from: Story, Comedy, Music Video, Documentary, Instructional and Animation.

Qualifying filmmakers will be honored at an awards ceremony on March 1st, 2012, where they can win trophies, certificates, and prizes.
