John Hoffman will be the newest member of the Keller City Council, according to an article in the Star Telegram.

Hoffman, an executive for a healthcare company, won the seat on Tuesday. Unofficial results show that the 51-year-old nabbed 59 percent of the votes. He beat out real estate agent Jackie Black for the position.

Hoffman will serve for 2 1/2 years. He previously served on Keller's Planning and Zoning Commission.
