A Tarrant County Criminal District Judge will serve on the Governor's Criminal Justice Advisory Council.

Judge Robb Catalano is one of eight members on the council, who were all appointed to the position by Governor Rick Perry. The council will "advise the governor on the creation, staffing, operations and performance of specialty courts to ensure the rights of participants are protected," according to a press release from the Governor's Office.

Catalano is judge of Criminal District Court No. 3 in Tarrant County, and a former assistant district attorney in the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office.
