Capital One Bank’s Fort Worth Market President, Kurt Schaal and Capital One Bank Volunteers were at Westlake Academy  and participated in community Storehouse’s Quest Summer Enrichment Program.  Mr. Schaal and the volunteers spoke and interacted with 5-9 year olds (K-2nd grade) – In language that was age appropriate -- about overall Financial Literacy. The Quest– Summer Enrichment Program focuses on addressing a student’s academic needs against the backdrop of a positive, real world environment.

The Community Storehouse Quest Summer Enrichment is a nonprofit program that serves Carroll ISD, Keller ISD, and Northwest ISD attendance zones; students from IL Texas and Westlake Academy are also a part of the service area. Unlike a traditional summer school program, Quest – Summer Enrichment Program is geared towards identifying and addressing a student’s academic needs, but also focuses on providing an inviting and upbeat environment, along with a variety of new and exciting experiences, to help children connect what they are learning in the classroom with the world around them.
