GrapeFest Needs Volunteers

If you feel like you have what it takes to make a difference in one of Grapevine’s most renowned events, now is your chance.

Volunteers 13 years old and older are now being accepted for GrapeFest, the largest wine festival in the Southwest.  The festival will begin on Thursday, Sept. 13 and continue through Sunday, Sept. 16.

GrapeFest Volunteer Orientation and Alcohol Training will be held on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Palace Arts Center.  Volunteers that plan to work in alcohol related areas will need to be 21 years old or older and attend the Alcohol Training session if they do not have a current TABC Certification.

The festival is looking for volunteers to work at GrapeStomp, the Festival Store, the Snow Cone Booth, a variety of alcohol service positions and more.  GrapeFest volunteers will be placed in shifts on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Grapevine Convention Center.  At the dinner, volunteers will enjoy food, refreshments and a raffle drawing.
