Timber Creek High School swimmer Aaron Greene will become the first Keller ISD product to participate in the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials this week as he competes in the 100-meter and 200-meter backstroke races in Omaha, Neb.

Aaron, who will enter his senior year at TCHS this fall, will swim the 100 back on Tuesday, June 26 where he is seated 42nd of the 100-plus competitors who qualified for the event.  He's seated 20th in the 200 back competition which will take place Friday, June 29.

After the preliminary heats, the top 16 swimmers advance to the semifinals, and the top 8 in the semis qualify for the finals with a chance to represent the United States in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.
