Fresh air and a walk are as healthy for animals as they are for humans.  This weekend, Keller Farmers Market is hosting its first Pet Wellness Event.

Bring your leashed, well-behaved pets to the market on June 23 between 8 a.m. and noon for a little fresh air, and talk to pet service providers, food and supply providers, and enter to win raffles and prizes.  “Don’t Forget to Feed Me” will also be on hand to collect pet food, pet supplies and donations.

Premiering for the first time this season at KFM is Terry Allan Hall, bringing his own brand of folk & jazz music to the market.

New food to the market this weekend includes Henrietta Creek Orchard, with donut peaches and red haven peaches, and Heavenly Acres with their fresh picked pecans.

In addition, Eamon Burke of Burke Cutlery will be at market to sharpen your kitchen utensils (for a fee) as well as answer questions, talk to you about knives and your needs, discuss the history of your cutlery, and take orders for custom handmade wood sheaths for your utensils.
