The Keller Police Department and the Keller Public Library are teaming up this week to host a kid safety event.

On Tuesday, April 10, parents are invited to bring their kiddos to "Operation Safe KID" at the library. Children 14 months and older can have identification cards made and fingerprints taken at the event.

The event lasts from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is free. No registration is required.

The library is located at 640 Johnson Road.
