With nearly 100 Keller ISD students suffering from type 1 diabetes, the 2012 School Walk for Diabetes is an event that hits close to home for many KISD students and faculty.

That's why KISD is teaming up with The American Diabetes Association to host the walk this Saturday, March 31st. Held at the Keller ISD Athletic Complex Stadium, the walk will take place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and funds raised will help further the mission of the American Diabetes Association: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
