Spring is the perfect time to take a family bike ride through Keller, and the Keller Police Department wants to make sure your family knows all about bike safety.

Police officers will be visiting several Keller schools in April to share information on bike safety: rules of the road, the importance of wearing a bike helmet, bike maintenance, and theft prevention.  Presentations will be given at South Keller Intermediate, Keller Harvel Elementary, Hidden Lakes Elementary, and Ridgeview Elementary.

If your neighborhood is interested in hosting a bike safety program, be sure to contact Officer Scott Bradburn. Officer Bradburn has developed a bike safety course complete with bikes and cones to teach safety skills to children.
