GKWC Foundation Grant Recipients, 2014

Since the inception of the Greater Keller Women's Club Foundation in 1996, they have now donated more than one million dollars to the greater Keller area.  The Greater Keller Women's Club Foundation awarded grants to area 501 (c) organizations at their annual Distribution of Funds Dinner on June 19 at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Course, Keller.  Checks were presented to qualified Northeast Tarrant County organizations to support programs and/or projects that address community related issues, as well as scholarships to seniors at each of the Keller ISD High Schools.

Proceeds from the 2014 Garden of Roses Fashion Show held on, March 29 at Texas Motor Speedway Club were used to fund these philanthropic requests along with a gift from the Greater Keller Women's club.

This year's recipients were:

Advent Urban Youth Development, CASA of Tarrant County, Christ Haven for Children, Community Enrichment Center, Community Storehouse, Friends of the Keller Library, Love Never Fails International, Metroport Meals on Wheels, Mid Cities Care Corps, Neuro Assistance Foundation, Victory Therapy Center, Safe Haven of Tarrant County, Three GKWC Scholarships to Central High School, Three GKWC Scholarships to Fossil Ridge High School, Two GKWC Scholarships and the Holly Bowden Memorial Scholarship to Keller High School and Three GKWC Scholarships to Timber Creek High School.

The Greater Keller Women's Club Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization was estabalished in 1996 in order to facilitate their partnership with the Greater Keller Women's Club.
