33,700 Keller ISD Students on 39 Campuses Join Hands to Launch Anti-Bullying Campaign

Keller ISD’s will officially launch its anti-bullying program, Reaching Out with Character and Kindness (ROCK), with a Kick Off Event from 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 as students and teachers join hands across the district.

During this district-wide, one-time event, students and staff will join hands in front of Keller ISD campuses and reach out toward the nearest campus in a show of unity to eliminate bullying and harassment.

“Keller ISD is dedicated to eliminating bullying and harassing behaviors from our schools,” said Keller ISD Superintendent Dr. Randy Reid. “Students and employees joining hands, at the same time, across the district is going to send a powerful message that, we are united in our efforts to create a safe learning environment.”

Keller ISD’s ROCK is a campaign to discourage bullying and harassment behaviors and educate students on the value of respecting their peers.
