Hidden Lakes Elementary students show off their "Love" inspired artwork.

Keller ISD Fine Arts partnered with 29 Pieces for the Dallas LOVE Project, contributing 12,000 pieces of artwork to the project that pays tribute to President John F. Kennedy leading up to the 50th anniversary of his assassination.

29 Pieces is a non-profit organization in Dallas that focuses on making monumental changes through art. The Dallas LOVE Project was conceived to collect more than 20,000 pieces of art with the theme of unconditional love, inspired by quotes from great peacemakers, poets, artists, and musicians.

Keller ISD students from kindergarten through 12th grade created the 12,000 pieces of art for the project, which was installed in more than 140 venues throughout Dallas. It will remain on display through November 22, the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s assassination, and much of the art will be featured along the route of JFK’s motorcade during the anniversary celebration.
