We just got word from that the City of Keller has earned the No. 7 spot on Safewise.com's list of the "50 Safest Cities in Texas." 

Safewise uses data including the FBI's 2011 Crime in the U.S. Report as well as other research to compile a list of the safest places (with at least 20,000 residents) to live in the state, and Keller grabbed the seventh spot.

According to the FBI's data, "Keller ranks third lowest in the number of Part 1 Crimes, which include murder, rape, robbery, assault and theft" in comparison to other cities of similar population size. Crime reports for the 2011 reporting year indicate that there were just two robberies and no arsons reported to law enforcement.
