The Tarrant County Office of Emergency Management issued a Blue Alert on Tuesday, Feb. 12 in response to the stabbing of a police officer in Grapevine.

The alert says that Miami-Dade Officer Jamie Pardinas is seriously injured and that police are searching for a 2008 white Ford Explorer with a Texas license plate number of 19ZJW8.

Law enforcement officials believe this vehicle to be associated with the serious injury of Pardinas, involving a serious risk or threat to the public and other law enforcement personnel, according to the alert.

Update:

Dallas police recovered the vehicle, but it had no ties to the stabbing, according to a report from WFAA.
