Looking for a fun, family-friendly Easter event to attend in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex? Well, look no further!

Hop around from our city-to-city activity list and you'll be sure to find one that's suitable for you and your bunnies at home!

Frisco:

  • Easter at the Cathedral features 50,000 eggs, the Easter Bunny (bring your camera) and food for purchase (BBQ sandwiches, nachos, hot dogs, snow cones, chips, candy, soft drinks and bottled water offered through Catering by George) and a car, truck and cycle show! Make sure to bring a basket to snatch up all the goodies Saturday, March 30, at Elevate Life Church in Frisco from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The first Easter Egg Hunt will start at 11 a.m. Elevate Life Church is located at 8500 Teel Parkway in Frisco. McKinney:

  • The McKinney Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department will hold its annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Saturday, March 30. Activities start at 11 a.m. at Al Ruschhaupt Soccer Complex, 1986 Park View Ave. Special features include an appearance by the Easter Bunny, and the event culminates with an Easter egg hunt for more than 30,000 candy-filled eggs. Kids will enjoy bounce houses, a train, games and prizes. The event is free, with activities from 11 a.m. to noon.   • Join the Community Life Church, located in McKinney on 601 S. Graves, for its Kids Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. They will have food trucks, 6,000 eggs, a bounce house, obstacle course, music and lots of fun and family time.   • The Second Annual Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at The Ballfields at Craig Ranch, 6151 Alma Road in McKinney. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt and fun for individuals with special needs and their families. Best of all, it's free! Allen:

  • Lucky Duck Kids Club – Bunny Brunch and Egg Hunt: Enjoy a complimentary kids Easter brunch at Brio's Tuscan Grille on Saturday, March 23, from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. with the purchase of an adult entrée, while you meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny! Then. be sure to head over to The Green from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. for an Easter egg hunt, face painting, crafts, hayrides and more. Lucky Duck Kids Club is a family-friendly activity series designed for children ages three to 12 years old. Free and open to the public.   • Bring your Easter basket and come stroll through Civic Plaza on Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Eggcellent Family Adventure! Kids can visit tables hosted by civic organizations and local businesses to receive eggs, candy and other goodies. The event would not be complete, of course, without a visit from the Easter Bunny. Plano:

  • Easter Eggs Over Easy Egg Hunt is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 at Liberty Recreation Center, located at 2601 Glencliff Drive. Ages 2-7 welcome and cost is $4/child. This event includes an egg and candy hunt – with a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Will be held rain or shine.
  • Aquatic Easter Egg Hunt at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 at the Plano Aquatic Center, located at 2301 Westside Drive.
  • Easter Egg Hound Hunt for your dogs at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 30 at Oak Point Nature Preserve. Dogs and their owners will have fun finding dog treat Easter eggs and several have special prizes! Will be held rain or shine.
  • On Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., join the Heritage Farmstead Museum for its Victorian Eggstravaganza! The egg hunt is for kids ages 10 and younger. Egg hunts will start at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., along with a craft featured in the pole barn. Tickets are $5 per person and registration is required to reserve a spot.   • Little ones are invited to hop on over to Amazing Jake’s in Plano on Saturday, March 30, to enjoy a Pancake Breakfast with the Bunny. Along with the Amazing Jake’s fun and Egg Hunt, the Easter Bunny will hop by to visit with the children. Parents can bring cameras to capture the moment. The Pancake Breakfast is from 8 to 10 a.m.; the Egg Hunt begins at 9:30 a.m. and guests should bring Easter Baskets. Breakfast prices start at $6.99 per person and this price also includes admission to the Egg Hunt. Breakfast purchase is required for entry. Richardson:

  • Flashlight “Egg” Streme: Bring a parent, your Easter basket and a flashlight to our annual night Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 23, from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Breckinridge Park in Richardson. The event will allow participants to create an Easter craft, eat s'mores and go on a unique night time hunt. The Easter eggs will be hidden at Breckinridge Park by participating parents and staff. Lake Highlands:

  • On Sunday, March 31, head on over to Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church for its Egg Hunt for children at 10 a.m. Worship Services will be at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

University Park:

  • Celebrate spring and hop on over to Goar Park this Saturday, March 23, for the City’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt! The event, designed for children up to 8-years-old, gets underway at 9 a.m. Participation is free of charge. The Easter egg hunt begins at 9:30 a.m. Remember to bring a basket for egg collection. More than 6,000 plastic eggs will be placed in the park. Event activities will also include photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, bounce houses, snacks and music. 

Grapevine:

  • You’re in for an EGGcellent time this Easter at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth’s Bricks & Bunnies event March 30, March 31, April 6 and April 7. Activities include a festive egg hunt throughout the attraction with fun prizes as well as Easter-themed model builder workshops. Easter egg hunts will begin at 10 a.m. with model builder workshops held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, click here.
  • SEA LIFE Aquarium Grapevine invites you to come out and watch Scuba Bunny hop to the bottom of the ocean tank to hide eggs for a SEA LIFE diver to find. Kids are encouraged to help point the diver in the right direction! The dive will occur at 2 p.m. on March 23. Other Easter-themed activities include a special aquarium-wide scavenger hunt for real shark eggs for a chance to win four tickets to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth.   • Colleyville Heritage Lions will host the Third Annual Easter Egg Hunt, March 24, from 2-5 p.m. at Delaney Vineyards2000 Champagne Blvd., Grapevine, TX. Be sure to show for the prizes, bounce houses, face painting, yummy food, petting zoo and pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Bunny.   • First United Methodist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt on March 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be two different hunts during that time. Kids older than first grade can participate in a scavenger hunt. In addition to the hunt, there will be crafts and face painting. Please bring your kids of all ages for some family fun!   • The Door Church is planning to celebrate Easter as one church body on Sunday, March 31, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. They're planning an outdoor family- friendly service and celebration directly followed by a church-wide picnic with great food, bounce houses, an Easter egg hunt and fellowship.
