On June 4, 1984 in St. Louis MO, a man stood by his car pumping gas when he was approached by another man who shot and killed him. Witnesses gave a description to the police and Darryl Burton was arrested and later convicted of capital murder and armed criminal action.

On August 29, 2008, Darryl Burton was released from prison after serving 24 years of a life sentence for a murder he did not commit.

Darryl put his trust in God in 1998 and made many contributions to society while incarcerated, including serving as a Youth Counselor, Narrator and Braille Specialist.

Since his exoneration, Darryl has spoken with many differrent groups nationally and internationally about his experience, inspiring others with his message of "Hope and Forgiveness." We invite everyone to join us on Thursday, May 23 at Keller United Methodist Church as we welcome Darryl and hear his story.

Keller UMC is located at 1025 Johnson Road.
