On Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., St. Martin-in-the-Fields will host a neighborhood festival open to the public.  The church is extending an invitation to all surrounding neighbors as a chance to introduce itself.

Free entertainment in the main tent includes a marimba group, the St. Martin’s Choir and individual singers.

Free attractions include bounce houses and craft activities, especially for children three to 12 years old.  One bounce house is a water slide, so bring along a towel!

For adults, there will be vendors with homemade items, used books and media for sale.  There will be a silent auction with 30 to 40 items, and the church and school buildings will be open for tours.

Boy Scouts and other service organizations will have booths, Beloveds Mercantile will sell Fair Trade Goods and local charitable organizations will be present with information and literature.

Food service will include hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, snacks and cold beverages at nominal cost.

St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church is located on the boundary between Southlake and Keller at 223 S Pearson Lane.  For further information, contact the church at http://www.stmartininthefields.org/ or call 817-431-2396 or 2389.
