While Santa was busy getting toys ready to go at the North Pole, one of his trusted reindeer took some time off to visit children at the Keller Public Library.

On Monday, Dec. 10, families had the opportunity to meet a live reindeer at the library, located at 640 Johnson Rd. Immediately following family story time, parents and eager children of all ages headed to the back porch to see the reindeer.

Families were able to take pictures with the reindeer and his sleigh at the free event.

The reindeer will return to Keller in two weeks, but next time he’ll be traveling overhead with a much bigger sleigh.
