Dog of the Week: Lucky
Lucky first showed up at the Keller shelter last March and immediately won everyone over with her sweet, gentle manner. She would roll over on her back for belly rubs and hug people, holding them tight in a long embrace.
Volunteers were very happy when she was adopted and saddened to learn that she had been returned, as she and the resident dog in her new home did not see eye to eye.
While volunteers do not know the details of the dogs' relationship, they feel Lucky might do best in a home where she is the only dog. She may have suffered some incident in the past that has caused her to be nervous around other dogs. The shelter knows there is a perfect home for her out there. Lucky is so affectionate and loving and offers nothing but love.
Lucky has been spayed, is current on her shots and is heartworm negative. For more information, contact the Keller animal shelter at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 817-743-4516.
