A Keller Central High School coach will be recognized  in a ceremony by the Dallas Cowboys.

Head Football Coach Bart Helsley will be honored during an on-field recognition ceremony at the December 11th Dallas Cowboys game against the New York Giants.

Helsley, according to a press release by Keller ISD, was also honored in week 10 of the 2011 regular season as the Dallas Cowboys High School Coach of the Week. The honor came just after the Chargers beat Coppell 28-7, securing the team a spot in the postseason.

Helsley will be presented with a $1,000 grant for the Chargers football program by the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Charities. 

The Cowboys game is slated to begin at 7:20 p.m.
