The Keller City Council will convene Thursday evening for a special council meeting.

The special meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Parkway.

On the agenda for this special meeting:

• Council members will consider an ordinance for the reauthorization of the local sales and use tax at the rate of one-fourth of one percent to continue providing revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets in the city.
• They'll also consider a resolution to fill the unexpired term for City Council Place 5.
• Council members will also consider a resolution calling a runoff election to fill the unexpired term for City Council Place 5.
