Keller Pets of the Week: Calvin and Joy

CALVIN

Several weeks ago, we rescued Calvin after a concerned citizen found him hanging around her neighborhood day and night, cold, hungry and apparently lonely. Extensive efforts made to locate his owners were unsuccessful, so after a couple of weeks, we agreed to help find him a home. He was cared by one of our wonderful fosters, and he is now ready to be adopted. Calvin has a very mellow personality. He likes to be near people, and he loves to be brushed. He is large and cuddly and will make a perfect companion for some lucky family. Calvin is current on his shots and has been neutered. If you would like more information on this sweet boy, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com.

JOY

Joy has now been at the Keller Shelter for several weeks. We cannot believe how patient she has been while waiting to meet her soulmate. She is always happy and a pleasure to walk. She used to hang out with her two buddies in the back where they would all play together and have a great time. Those friends have now been adopted, and Joy is hoping that her turn might come soon, too. She is looking forward to running and playing and smelling the wind in her face and asks that you please help her find her forever home so that she can once again experience all those things. Joy would make a great running partner, as she jogs calmly by your side and doesn't pull on her leash. She would most likely do well in a home with another young dog for company. She has been spayed, is current on her shots and is hw negative. For more details, please contact animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com or the Keller Shelter at 817-743-4517.
