American Flex Football has signups going on for the non tackle Winter League in Keller. American Flex Football was designed by ex-NFL players with Youth Player Safety involved. Players wear soft shell helmets and soft shell shoulder pads as semi contact with blocking is introduced to players and teams. Flex Football is the perfect Spring bridge game to take a young player from never playing or a player moving up from non contact flag to introduce certain aspects of contact of the game of football without any head contact or impact. You may enter a full team or individual players may register and be assigned a team. American Flex Football has Divisions for players age 8 to Middle School. RULES OF THE GAME / Modern Football in a Limited-Contact Environment

The game is designed to look and feel like real football with traditional point scoring, first downs, common fouls and penalties. Play is fast-paced yet controlled to retain the integrity of real football, while maintaining a safer, limited-contact environment with no head impact. Here are the general rules of Flex Football: Flex Football

*No tackling: Players are marked down by having flag pulled 8U & below, *2-hand touch from knees to shoulders 9U and above
*No shoulder blocking: “Hands first” blocking is the only way to block 
*No bull rushing 
*No 3-point stances 
*Blitzes are limited to 1 per new set of downs 
*No A-gap blitzes on the line of scrimmage 
*Running is allowed and encouraged 
*QB’s can only run past line of scrimmage if blitzed

Texas Elite 7on7 Football will start their 5th Season of Winter League Play on Sunday Nov 5th in Keller on 4 fields. League play is open to all teams from 3rd grade through High School Juniors in 6 different divisions. Returning team discounts are available until Oct 7th. Deadline for entry is Oct 26th. Spring Friday Night Lights 7on7 League Play team registration is open for teams in grades 3rd through High School. League Play starts Friday evening April 14th at Keller High School.
